EDIT Restaurant Lighting Commission

We were delighted to work with architect Elly Ward on lighting to complete her project for her own restaurant in Hackney, London. We made a set of wooden lampshades in ash and cherry, supplied 3 table lamps, and worked with her to design and make a stunning stem chandelier in local hazel. The concept of the restaurant is low-impact, hyper seasonal, with a concise menu of British, plant-based dishes accompanied by a great selection of low-intervention local wines, beers and ciders. It opened to rave reviews in January 2023. Given our furniture is all about sourcing local timber, working with hand-tools, and allowing the woods to speak for themselves, we found a real synergy with the ethos of the eatery.
